Most of us end up in the water given half a chance. Kent, Cornwall, the Lakes, wherever we can get to.
These two organisations have spent decades keeping UK seas on the agenda.
We support them so they can do more of it.
We're proud to support the Marine Conservation Society
and Surfers Against Sewage
of the planet is ocean
of the oxygen we breathe comes from the sea
of carbon emissions are absorbed by the ocean
tonnes of plastic enter the ocean every year

The Marine Conservation Society are a leading UK environmental charity, working for our ocean’s future by driving political and social change through science and evidence – protecting habitats and regenerating ecosystems with communities, businesses and governments.
We pay an annual membership and take volunteering days for beach cleans and surveys. We turn up and do what we’re told.
Started in Cornwall in 1990 by surfers who were sick of getting sick. They were campaigning on sewage discharges thirty years before it became national news. Now they run a live sewage map that tells you whether it’s safe to go in, and a brand audit that names the companies behind the plastic on British beaches. Most of it runs on people in coastal communities reporting what they see.
We pay an annual membership to support their movement.
